My friend Carol referred me to Triark Roofing after a successful repair job they did.
Jeff, the young owner made the estimate & I checked with my church friend, Jeremy to see if it was in line with what he paid for a similar job on … More his home. It was similar.
The job proceed w/ a couple months scheduling delay. I drove to their work location, saw that Triark had a few new trucks, a sparse indoor space, met some of the crew (mostly Ukrainian) & was favorably impressed. Jeff advised I‘d need to put 40% down @ the start of the job & the rest @ the end after the county inspection.
Just b/4 work began, I wanted to see what the roof color would look like on my house, Malarkey, the product manufacturer, has an online app where one can upload a photo of their house & the program will change the old roof color to one of their line of colors. This was a cool game changer as it allowed me to see how each color might look on my actual house.
Because the two workers who did all the work didn’t speak much English, Jeff has an liason person, Larry who came by most days & thoroughly answered all my questions. It took six working days to complete my 1469 sq. ft.

After getting five roofing bids I picked Triark Roofing the quote was done by Jay Hancock it was the most expensive one but I thought it was the most accurate. I checked all the licenses and the Better Business Bureau everything was up … More to date. They took care of all the permit papers and had them posted on the front of my home as stated by law.
My home is a ranch style with a low-pitch roof there isn’t an attic and the roof was 25+ years old also there were many areas of dry rot. In other words a lot of work to be done.
My immediate contact was the crew supervisor Larry Topov he was checking on the progress everyday. Also very easy to contact if he wasn’t physically at my home. He’s a polite and intelligent man with an excellent work ethic. Anytime I had a question he would always explain the reason why something was happening. When more dry rot was found I was immediately told and pictures were taken so I could see. There was a line item in the contract stating how much this would cost so there weren’t any surprises. The update to the contract was done immediately and sent to me. The crew showed up on time each day and worked hard. Just wanted to thank them again for the great job.
There were some problems. A sub contractor delivered roofing supplies and put them on my garage roof. My garage roof is just plywood so it’s not super strong, well the extra weight of the supplies pushed my roof down enough to cause my garage door to break when I tried to open it. Called Larry he came right over and arranged for someone to fix it the next day. Triark and their employees are very good at customer service. All problems solved quickly.

Looking at all the pictures and the time the crew was at my house I feel the price was more than fair and they did a great job. Everyone at Triark that I talked to the roofers the office people and Jay are extremely nice. They keep you informed what’s going daily no surprises. Thanks to the crew for working in non-ideal conditions . It was January in Auburn. Misty rainy and cold. The crew identified additional dry rot and replaced. Sure, there were additional charges but there is no way any inspection can find 100% of damage on a 30 year roof. I was actually pleased that the crew found and repaired additional damage.
